Mark Resnik is a founding member of Burling Wealth Partners and a distinguished leader in the wealth management industry. Mark brings over 30 years of industry experience having held leadership roles in wealth management, investment research, and tax & estate planning with CIBC Private Wealth (formerly Geneva Advisors), Segall Bryant & Hamill, and Concord Investments. Previously, Mark practiced as an attorney and a certified public accountant.

Mark is energized by helping clients achieve their goals. The feeling of helping to make a difference in others’ lives is what drives Mark to be a loyal advocate for his clients and a leader in the community. Mark has enjoyed mentoring the next generation of wealth management leaders, coaching youth sports, organizing Buddy Baseball for children with developmental disabilities and has been involved with a variety of not-for-profit organizations.

Mark graduated with high honors from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and earned his JD degree from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he graduated cum laude. Mark has passed the CPA exam. He has served as the chairman of the Chicago Bar Association’s Financial and Investment Services Committee and has published several articles in the areas of investment and estate planning.
